The Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited recently helped fund the purchase of a "Rapid Rescuer" 4 Man Water Rescue Kit for the City of Havre Fire Department (pictured here). The Havre Fire Department covers a response area of nearly 2,500 square miles which includes numerous bodies of water along with rivers and streams. This much needed update replaces 4 suits that were 15-25 years old and that had significant leaks beyond repair. These new suits are capable of performing ice rescues as well as swiftwater rescues. We are grateful for all these firefighters do to protect people from dangers that waterways can present, especially in the frigid temperatures we experience along the Hi-Line. Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited is proud to be able to help secure these suits that are vital to water rescues. We look forward to continuing our efforts to serve our great community.
